thanks for all the suggestions both here and (mostly!) via the form - well over 100 of you got in touch to suggest tunes for PROJECT: WE ARE PARTY.

so here's some of what we have instore this thursday:

- FREE BOOZE
we've enough shots to guarantee everyone a free drink if they're in before 11.30pm - but there's no doubt be free shots poured from the stage all night!
- PROJECT WE ARE PARTY
we're going to mash up the 100 biggest sketchy anthems in 100 minutes (between 11.40pm & 1.20am) on four CDJs and a sampler....this is why we're asking for your sketchy anthems, to make sure we haven't missed any!
- FREE MUGS!
i have the last 40 ETCH-A-SKETCHY mugs - if you want one, just email rigsy@sketchyclub.com with MUG in the subject box and you can pick it up on thursday!
- SPECIAL BIRTHDAY VISUALS
and no doubt the stage will be nicely decorated. i am a child and i like balloons. a lot.
- GRAND OPENING OF THE NEW STIFF KITTEN BAR!
not strictly for our birthday ha ha, but the brand new renovated front bar will be officially open for business on thursday night!

myself, paul mcclean, paul hamill and mark will all be DJing/drinking/celebrating in the main room as well. if you want to be there, for free....well, just comment on the blog with some sketchy tunes and you'll most likely get on the guestlist.

oh, and please bring us a crappy birthday card.

just a week and a bit until our fourth birthday!

but meantime, guestlist is open for tomorrow....BUT....to get on the list you have to comment on this blog (or on the wee form if yr shy) with a track (or better still, tracks!!) you associate with sketchy because we play them all the time (should be plenty to chose from!)

these have to be tunes we've played loads - not just tracks you'd *like* us to play loads.

if you've not been to the club before, thats fine, just fill in the form instead and explain it's yr first time :-)

we'll pick people who commented at random (though it's a quiet time of year so i'd say most, if not all of you will get on) and then email them to confirm around 4pm tomorrow - so make sure fill in your email address when posting your comment.

the reason we're doing this is because, as part of the fourth birthday celebrations, we will unveil PROJECT WE ARE PARTY.

basically, using three CDJs and paul hamill's magical new sampler/console thingy, we will mash up the 100 biggest sketchy anthems of the last four years in an hour (between 12 and 1am) as part of our birthday celebrations on nov 26.

i've started compiling what i reckon are the most played tracks from the last four years, but we obviously would like your help. we'll also keep this running for next weeks blog (in which EVERYONE who asks will get on the list - so spread the word - we'll also have free booze for all on the night, keep the date free!!!!)

sorry to ask you to do this, but y'all can dry your eyes cause it means you get in free ;-)
