first up, pics and playlist from last week....
GUESTLIST NOW OPEN!!!!
we've been pretty cool letting almost everyone on who asks (it's done at random, btw) but PLEASE use the blog for all your feed back, requests and general comments, we do appreciate hearing from you - thats the whole point ;-)
some tuneage for a damp wednesday afternoon, then!

RYE RYE ft MIA - Bang (Teen Wolf remix)
Remixing everyone from Kan(yawn) West* to Midfield General, this little south London sounding banger is not one to be playing mum and dad over Sunday brunch, but is a great track to start toughening the sound of your set. As ever MIA is effortlessly sexy and cool. Sketchy objective #1 - get MIA to come to Sketchy, ensuring future marriage.
KINGS OF LEON - Knocked Up (Lykee Li v. Rodeo remix)
Well, isnt this odd? It really brings out the bleak undertones of this track. There is a palpable sense of despair. Kids, use a fucking condom, eh?
And from me:
CAVIN HARRIS - Ready for the Weekend (High Contrast mix)
they're usually a little cheesey, but i've loved high contrast's pop remixes - kanye west, missy elliot, utah saints, eric prydz - and this is a decent re-working of sketchy's mate ;-) Calvin Harris' new single.
PHOENIX - Lisztoania (Alex Metric remix)
Phoenix remain one of the most underrated bands in the world. Alex Metric (playing Saturday week at the SK with fucking SINDEN!!) gives it a little groove.
that'll do! see y'all...
