BELSONIC!!!!!

RIGHT, just eight sleeps until the Sketchy night @ Belsonic!!!! we haven't looked forward to a gig on this island since....well, since The Flaming Lips last year (true bill).

Dizzee is probably the most played artiste at Sketchy this year (between Bonkers, Holiday and our penchant for his first album) while Vampire Weekend were literally my favourite band of 2008 (i went on record to say so last December). Crystal Castles seem like the meltiest pair of humans ever but, you know, make decent enough tunes ;-)
Even local act Two Door Cinema club - we've played loads at the club! this track in particular.....

It's the PERFECT sketchy bill and we honestly cannot wait. it's going to be the night of the summer.

We'll be giving away tickets to the OFFICIAL AFTERSHOW which we'll be throwing afterwards at the Stiff Kitten (with some very special guests expected to appear) next wednesday, as usual!

this week, we've uploaded a few tunes from last weeks playlist that went down well, which you may not have.

first up, a track which no one seems to care about, despite it being a fucking absolute belter. i have no idea why this didn't break though - a massive hip hop/electro banger i first heard when sketchy DJ mark put it on his mix.....

so a-trak is working with armand van helden on a project named ducksauce - and the track 'anyway' is officially sketchy's favourite track of the summer. we don't want to upload it here (look elsewhere) but it comes massively recommended. instead, here's a-trak in action, reworking the sneak classic 'can't hide from your bud'
